The Problem

Many employees were unsure how artificial intelligence actually works or how it shows up in their day-to-day tools. Some found it intimidating, others thought it didn’t apply to them. We needed a way to introduce AI in a way that felt relevant, practical, and non-technical.

The Goal

Create a short, accessible module to help employees understand what AI is, where it shows up in the workplace, and how they can start using it responsibly and confidently — even if they’re not in a tech role.

What I Created

  • Clear definitions of AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI

  • Real examples of AI being used across different roles

  • Reflection questions to help learners apply concepts to their own work

How I Designed It

  • Started with real workplace actions — not just theory

  • Used relatable examples so learners could “see themselves” using AI

  • Kept language simple and visual — no overwhelming technical terms

  • Included interactions to support understanding and reinforce learning
