The Problem
Many employees were unsure how artificial intelligence actually works or how it shows up in their day-to-day tools. Some found it intimidating, others thought it didn’t apply to them. We needed a way to introduce AI in a way that felt relevant, practical, and non-technical.
The Goal
Create a short, accessible module to help employees understand what AI is, where it shows up in the workplace, and how they can start using it responsibly and confidently — even if they’re not in a tech role.
What I Created
-
Clear definitions of AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI
-
Real examples of AI being used across different roles
-
Reflection questions to help learners apply concepts to their own work
How I Designed It
-
Started with real workplace actions — not just theory
-
Used relatable examples so learners could “see themselves” using AI
-
Kept language simple and visual — no overwhelming technical terms
-
Included interactions to support understanding and reinforce learning
